Minneapolis Musical Theatre presents Bright Lights, Big City

Minneapolis Musical Theatre presents “Bright Lights, Big City” in the Illusion Theater Space

ASL-interpreted, audio-described performance October 19, 2008 at 7:30 PM.

In less than two months, MMT will present it’s first production in the Illusion Theatre space. We have attached the press release for your review.

This is the kind of contemporary, off-beat musical that MMT does so well. In fact, the composer, Paul Scott Goodman, has expressed some possible interest in attending the production.

We know that there is a lot of theatre during the fall in the Twin Cities but very little musical theatre and virtually no area premieres except Bright Lights, Big City. Patrick Morgan leads a very talented cast.

As always, we really need your help to let audiences know about this show. Because of it’s rock score, it will have appeal far beyond the traditional musical theatre audience.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule Artistic Director Steven Meerdink for an interview. We can also make some members of the cast available for electronic appearances.
