We are Making changes
TCDeaf.com has been your advocate for over 10 years - providing news, events, and resources for local deaf people. We are undergoing a renovation to provide enhanced services and be more inclusive. Our goal is to create a more informed and engaged deaf community. Our new website is only the start of this process. We hope to continue to upgrade the website to make it easier to use, to be more inclusive and more strongly responsive to the needs of our members.
Community and advocacy do not happen alone. It requires your help and participation. We ask you to provide your input, feedback and support. Please let us know what we are doing right, what we are doing wrong, and how we can do better. Toward this end, we are asking for:
(1) Community members to join our advisory committee so we can have ongoing support and input.
(2) Volunteers to run our website. Technical ability is not needed, just your willingness to help. You can find more information about this volunteer opportunity posted on our website.
(3) Donations. This service requires funding; your donations help ensure our advocacy can grow and persevere. We are participating in the annual Give to the Max Day campaign, coming this Thursday, November 15.
